This was my early Valentine present, hubby got it for me at cost from a friend, it was still spendy, about $125, but it’s really a great device. It’s shaped like a Nano IPod with electrodes that you can stick anywhere you have pain. It’s also supposed to help with microcirculation, relax muscles, smooth joints and promote the absorption of inflammatory substances.
It has 6 settings, I tried them all, and only like one. The rest feel like different levels of electrical shock, zapping or lightening. I used mine right away, and it really did help my neck and shoulder muscles, except there was one spot that I put it on, which made my arm involuntarily jerk….so I don’t put it there anymore. There’s a couple warnings with the device, like don’t put it on your temples or near your heart, I can only imagine that outcome. The good news is that hubby bought himself one too, so I know he wasn’t trying to kill me. He has a torn muscle above his knee and had to shave that area because the adhesive kept ripping the hair off. Daughter woke him up in the lazy boy the other night because he had it on for over an hour, and his leg was a little twitchy. I haven’t checked out if it has auto shut off, but I use it sparingly, and it was a nice Valentine’s gift.
