If a business makes a public statement that you disagree with, do you separate their public stance from their business and continue to purchase their product, or do you vote with your dollar?
Example: If Ann Coulter’s public comment using a word offensive to a segment of the population offends you but you enjoy her books, do you continue to buy her books or do you stop?
Example: If Chick-fil-A makes their stance on the rights of a segment of the population and you disagree, do you make an effort to choose another restaurant or do you continue to eat there?
Example: If the Boy Scouts make it public that a segment of the population is not welcome in their organization and you disagree, do you continue buying their products when they are fund raising figuring it’s not the fault of the children who belong? If your child wanted to join because friends belong what would you do?
